I downloaded 5 language learning apps to help me learn Korean, but LingoDeer is the only one that has helped me. It is perfectly paced. The exercises and interface are wonderful, and most importantly it puts effort into explaining the “why” and “how” of grammar and structure alongside the exercises. In a few lessons, I already learned how to introduce myself, ask others for their name, state my interests, and greet people. Things I’ll ACTUALLY use in real life. It also gave some very helpful tips on Korean grammar. Additionally, it has a one-time purchase option so that you don’t have to fret over a subscription which is honestly something every app should have.

Very helpful! I’ve been using Lingodeer to learn Japanese for 2-3 months now, and it has been more helpful than any other app or website I've come across so far! The lessons are not too long nor too short, and gives an in-depth description of the language's grammar. I like being able to click words and particles and get a definition and explanation of its semantical role in a phrase. The app has both beginner and intermediate levels of lessons, and some of the languages also include fluency practice and/or a travel phrasebook. All in all it's an incredible app and I highly recommend it. :)

Finally an easy way to learn Thai and Arabic! It teaches you how to write, read and understand the language. I often jump onto other apps, just a brush up on languages that I am learning. Many of them don’t include languages that I want to learn such as Thai. I went through a couple of other messages trying to teach myself and had absolutely no luck. A couple lessons into this and I already have a decent vocabulary memorized. Love the approach! Can’t wait to use it on my next trip.

I didn’t have a system or structure to learn things in since I didn’t know where to look and practically watched/read anything I could find. I can tell you for sure that after I got the membership and unlocked all the lessons, I have been glued to this app. I never feel unmotivated to log in each day and learn, I actually get excited and I love how there’s stories at the end of each lesson! I can spend as little as 5/10 minutes on this app to a whole hour! So if you’re wondering if it’s worth it... it is!!
